Thermal insulation, energy saving and lightness in buildings


New classic® de.com Plastbau® Slab is an innovative panel formwork for forming slabs with slow armoring, armed and thrown away during labor.

Its peculiar characteristics:

  • LIGHTNESS The weight on the work site is only 7 Kg / sqm. (Variable depending on thickness);
  • SELF-SUPPORTING The formwork is self-supporting up to a maximum of 2.0 meters and bears first phase loads of about 150 kg / sqm. These features make it safe in the preparation stages of the reinforcement of the slab and of discarded materials during labor;
  • VARIABLE Adaptable to different architectural conformations;
  • HIGH THERMAL INSULATION

The high performance of the new classic® de.com Plastbau® Slab formwork are due to the collaboration of EPS (expanded polystyrene) with metal profiles placed inside of it. This rational combination of lightness and mechanical properties of the panels confers an adequate resistance to the panels, contributing greatly to raise the safety of the work done in the yard.

IDEAL FOR NEW CONSTRUCTION AND RENOVATION

The new classic® de.com Plastbau® Slab makes it possible to replace old slabs without the burden of the weight on supporting structures and foundations. Even in the superelevation it is advantageous to use the new classic® de.com Plastbau® Slab that compared to traditional slabs, reduces the weight bearing structures of 100-150 Kg / sqm.

Cassero solaio new classic® de.com Plastbau® tipo REL

New classic® de.com Plastbau® Slab - REL type - standing with plaster mesh soffit

New classic® de.com Plastbau® Slan is 60 cm wide and made of expanded polystyrene (EPS) Euroclasse 100, class E fire reaction, printed in continuous soffit, covered by plaster mesh and galvanized at hot temperatures.

Laid on deck for temporary support, perfectly matched to each other, so as to eliminate any thermal bridge at the ribs.  This ensures an average U less than 0.39 W / m2K, integrated with discarded concrete material > RCK25 (C20/25) adapted to form the joists and the indicated thickness of the slab.

New classic® de.com Plastbau® Slab is 60 cm wide, made of expanded polystyrene, Euroclasse 100, class E fire reaction, printed continuously.  Laid on deck for temporary support, perfectly matched to each other, so as to eliminate any thermal bridge at the ribs to ensure an average U of less than 0.39 W / m2K.  Integrated with concrete cast on site > RCK25 (C20 / 25) adapted to form the joists and the indicated thickness of the slab.  Trade name: 63.REL.18-40.

Finished soffit: Plaster

The adhesion of the mortar is carried out without any difficulty, due to the presence of a plaster-port network in the new classic® de.com Plastbau® slab.  The optimal result is achieved by using ready-mixed mortar, gypsum, lime and perlite cutlery either directly, by hand or machine, according to the prescriptions given by the manufacturer of the mortar itself.

In case you do not want to use premixed mortar it is appropriate that the mortar (dry or cement based) is applied in two or three consecutive layers, allowing each hand to dry well afterwards, while trying to drown a slip of glass fiber in the last layer of plaster, positioned at the joints between the bridge house.

TIPS

The presence of a high thermal differential between the outer and inner surface, such as in a roof slab, can create cracks in the plaster at the joints between the panels. In this case, we recommend the installation of a joint retina cover when applying the plaster. In the case of formation of plaster thicker than one centimeter, we recommend special mortars or the application of subsequent layers.

The new classic® de.com Plastbau® Slab is 60 cm wide, made of expanded polystyrene (EPS), Euro-class 100, case, class E fire reaction, printed continuously, with profiles of self-supported galvanized sheet (8/10) to L, up to a max. ml. 2.5, cut to size.

Laid on deck for temporary support, perfectly matched to each other, so as to eliminate any thermal bridge at the nerves, to guarantee an average U that is inferior to 0,39 W/mqK, integrated with cast on site concrete >RCK25 (C20 / 25) adapted to form the joists and the indicated thickness of the slab.

Finished soffit: Ceilings and plate drying

The "L" profile section in galvanized embedded steel allows the anchoring of dry countertops (plasterboards, calcium silicate, etc..) adhering or of very low profile.  In these profiles, positioned at a distance of 30 cm, screwing can be done utilizing normal self-tapping screws.

The new classic® de.com Plastbau® slab is used as sanitary flooring on ground.

This version is made solely with EPS.  The formwork panels are not self-supporting and are placed on a bed of sand or gravel.  They can also be used as flooring slabs stacked in replacement of those in existing structures.  In both cases, their lightness (for handling) in weight and the absence of thermal bridges (for insulation) is praised.

 
Lastra sottotrave deconet

Deconet® Underside Panel

The deconet® is an underside slab in EPS (expanded polystyrene) and is ideal for building insulation.  The slab is affordable in two versions:

- deconet without plaster mesh size; on customer's request;

- deconet with plaster mesh.  Dimensions: 600 x 1000 mm, 600 x 900 mm, 800 x 600 mm.

Its function is to insulate the rafters discarded in labor.  Combined with the new classic® de.com Plastbau® slab, it eliminates thermal bridges in correspondence to the beam / slab.  This way, the floors can be thermally insulated throughout their extension, improving the living comfort of the whole plan.

A request, based on the requirements of thermal insulation or other construction specifications, it is possible to vary the thickness or density.

Method of Installation

The deconet® underside slab is adapted and moved to the platform already prepared in support of the beam to be discarded, then the metal armor is placed, leaving enough space for the prescribed concrete cover, then proceeding to pour the concrete.

Finished soffit

For the excellence of the finished plasters, it is indicated to utilize only EPS materials and gypsum (lime, perlite) applied in the suggested manner by the manufacturers.  The slabs with plaster-port network do not require special care, but are instead treated with a first scratch coat, then applied with a second coat of plaster, which drown a reinforcement of fiberglass, overlapping in the seams to four inches.
