Decostill® insulation plates formed by molding

Decostill® is a self-extinguishing EPS insulating plate obtained by molding, with characteristics of high mechanical strength.  This insulating plate is characterized by the low absorption of steam

(Roofpor® Effect) which improves the thermal efficiency.  Even a limited absorption of water, in fact, decreases the insulation of the plates by at least 4%.

The decostill® panels are particularly suitable for insulating the bases of the buildings, the substrates in general, roofs, and crawlspaces.  The sheets are produced in many variations, some of which are normally available for immediate shipment, others manufactured on customer request.  The standard version is battened on all four sides and is white in color.  There are other versions with the same general characteristics but a different outer surface, rough and appropriate to favor the adhesion of plasters for thermal coats.

Technical characteristics:

  • thicknesses from 30 to 60 mm;
  • dimensions 1200 x 600 mm;
  • low absorption of water (CNR certificate of 12/04/01 port. 02TS01)

Insulating decolast® slabs obtained from blocks

Decolast® is an insulating, self-extinguishing EPS slab, white in color, with superior dimensional stability, and is obtained by cutting slabs of any thickness from seasoned and stabilized blocks of EPS.

Ideal for making the thermal coats, decolast® is built with self-extinguishing polystyrene, size 1200 x 600 mm. or 1000 x 500 mm, with thicknesses varying between 30 and 200 mm.  It is provided exclusively squared and sharp-edged.  The density varies as a function of customer demand between 10 and 30 Kg / mc.

The decolast® graphite version is also available with a density between 20 and 30 Kg / mc with improved thermal insulation.

The produces all plates according to the UNI EN 13163 regulation, which prescribes specific performance requirements for EPS insulation, as is clearly shown in the table below.  The chemical and physical characteristics of the slabs  are certified by qualified external laboratory quality control tests and the internal processes of, allowing to certify all of its products with the CE mark.

Decopor® insulating slabs

Ensures excellent mechanical performance while maintaining the dimensional stability over time, with a considerable degree of breathability.
It can be used with all materials that allow the exchange of absorption and transferrance of water vapor, thus creating a hygienic environment that is perfectly insulated.

The thermal conductivity is, thanks to the addition of the graphite component, of equal density, but with an improvement of more than 0,005 W / mK in respect to the white plate.
Therefore, a smaller amount of raw material is needed to obtain the same results as a normal EPS.  In addition, this reduction of thermal conductivity allows the use of these slabs for the insulation of less thick walls, ceilings and floors, to benefit the reduction in the volume of the interior perimeter.
